Very informative content as always. I didn't know Topps used to take orders and determine production from there.

I am noticing a lot of product staying on the shelves different card releases in the pass couple of years that sold out in first week now sitting on shelves longer and the price higher but with the last few releases from topps I seen the price come down a bit but one has to wonder are they over producing like they did in early 90’s it definitely feels that way

This is very interesting as we often don't think about our LCSs and how they have to approach the business. I've known about allocation and how LCSs have to purchase stuff they may not want to get access to what they do and it's got to be tough to balance that. I've seen my LCS with products on shelves for months that no one wants, especially at some of these prices. I had read that Fanatics was basically going to be more direct to consumer friendly and wondered how this would come into play with distributors and hobby shops. Definitely going to be an interesting year for the hobby as we navigate these new waters and see how things go with prices staying high yet value coming back to normalcy.
